I have brought my furry family members to Chino Hills Animal Hospital for decades. The vets and staff are always so sweet and patient. Their care has truly given our senior pets "extra innings" with a focus on their quality of life.

I found Dr Dunbar to be very caring and attentive to my pets needs. Roxy received a thorough exam and tests. Technicians and room nurses were very caring and also attentive to my pet. They were all patient with me as I was very worried about my baby. I have gone to CHAH for over 15 years and I recommend to others seeking quality care and compassion for your pet.

I have been a customer of Chino Hills Small Animal Hospital for 28+ years. They have always taken very good care of my animals, with the greatest of concern and knowledge. Everyone that works there, from the front office staff, the Doctor's and the Vet Tech's in the back, are always pleasant and helpful. I have had my share of emergency visits, and my dogs have ALWAYS gotten the best of care, and love. I appreciate all that they have done over the years, and am very comfortable knowing that they are some of the finest Veterinarian's available to me, and for my dogs.

Dr. Dunbar was informative and listened to our concerns. Gave us some options to help our boy. Treating him now for the current problem.

We trust all 3 of our pets with Chino Hills Small Animal Hospital. Our dog Riley has serious stomach issues and was experiencing vomiting, couldn't even keep water down. Within 24 hrs of our visit he was doing great, a prescription diet and he's doing great.

Dr Otterson has been my cat Jude’s veterinarian for a few years now and she is wonderful with him. She is thorough, sensitive and very caring. I recommend her highly.

The doctors are great (we've seen Dr. Brauer and Dr. Ellis), they are open extended hours and they can take card payments in the exam room so you can just take your pet and leave instead of fumbling around and doing pet management at the front desk to pay. Love that.

Saw the vet in regards to spaying my doggie. First time visit. Was impressed with the facility, and plan to have my dog become a lifetime patient.

We were recommended to take our new puppy Beary here for his vaccinations and health checks and we were very happy with the services we received. The Vets and staff have always been courteous and professional, and although they recommend various items, do not pressure you to go with any specific treatments/products.

Facility is clean and they always understood our apprehension about not being able to set the pup down until all of his vaccinations were complete, and ensured us they had the room and area cleaned before we could set him down, which was a huge relief.

We have not yet had the chance to check out the pet hotel/resort as our pup is not neutered yet, which is one of the requirements, so that's still TBD.

I continually get the best care from the technicians and doctors here. Dr. Alexchi and her room nurse were thorough, friendly, efficient, and informative. They were gentle with my cat and thorough. I trust the staff at CHAH. I have only had a great experiences with all staff at CHAH. What I appreciated most is the level of care and compassion.

I can't say enough great things about Chino Hills Animal Hospital. They are so professional and caring. I was really worried about my dog Gracie who was so sick when I brought her in to be seen. I started crying just talking to the Vet Tech explaining how sick my little girl was. The Vet Tech was just as compassionate towards me as she was my dog. It is true that our pets are our family. Chino Hills Animal Hospital really gets it.

Amazing staff in both the vet office and the pet resort. They are always friendly and patient. Our puppy loves going to daycare and boarding when needed. She always comes home zonked from playing so hard. It's wonderful for her.

Watched on webcam-Pet Resort and boy did Buddy get a workout and was interactive with other dogs. Just his 2nd time there. Great interaction with staff to dog ratio.

Took my dog there for nail grinding as he used togo to Petsmart but his nail was cut and bleeding one time and since then became anxious so didn’t take him back.. Chino hills Vetenary were great .. great staff friendly were able to grind his nails without having to sedate him ..🤗

This was the first time my dog saw Dr. Otterson. She was knowledgable and efficient and took very good care of him. I would definitely see her again. I have found everyone at both the hospital and boarding areas to be kind and helpful.

Took our Saint Bernard Cork to see Dr. Alecxim today for a check up and she was amazing. Really great examination from head to tail (highly recommend her). Made a few recommendations but did not push for anything to be done. Highly recommend Dr Alecxim ❤️🐶❤️🐶

8/1/24 Revised post based on last visit. Something has changed here and it seems like it is more about $$$ than care for your babies.

The whole staff are very professional, caring, attentive and strive to take the best care of your babies. We have been coming here since 1988 and NEVER had a bad experience. We cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Dunbar, Justin and everyone else. We took cupcakes in for the staff on one of our boy’s birthday and many of the staff said “thank you” weeks after dropping them off.

Rufus is always very excited to be there. We love being able to watch him play, or go in the pool. We also enjoy receiving text message updates of him. Everyone is always pleasant and kind and we can really tell they care about the pets. What I appreciate most is how happy Rufus is when he's there and when we pick him up.

Excellent, the explanation provided by the doctor all this time has been 100% understandable. Also we are very satisfied with cookie's surgery results. All the staff in general, congrats! I have never had any issues and they have treated us very kindly during all this time. Dr Dunbar I really appreciate the treatment that you have given to cookie!

Dr Tyson is great! She takes her time explaining everything , makes sure you understand and if you have questions, she’s happy to answer. The staff has been really nice as well, from front desk to vet tech. I’d recommend this place for anyone who is looking.

I've been using the care of Chino Hills Animal Hospital & Pet Resort for almost 30 years. They have a professional and caring staff. The facility is modern and clean, and wait times are typically very reasonable. I trust our Vet, Dr. Brauer, and we're so grateful to have her caring for our puppies. I appreciate the transparency in the estimate process with an ability to be able to view a printout of the recommended services before making decisions about my dog's care plan. My puppies love Dr. Brauer and are fortunate to have her expertise, and although I hope to avoid visits that aren't preventative in nature, we trust her and we're very grateful she's there when we need her.

Dr Otterson and her assistant Kate always do a great job with all our pets, definitely the best vet experience we have ever had with the two of them! They are by far the best Dr/assistant duo we have had since being at this hospital. They take great care of all our pets especially our recently passed 19yr old kitty. They made sure she had the best life and was well taken care of all the way until the very end! The compassion and attention to detail with these two lets us know our other kitties are in good hands! Grateful for everything they do and for always checking up with us!

The care provided to my kitten, Birch, was top notch! Dr Ellis and the rest of the team are always so kind and gentle with him. His condition has improved and he is now healthy and happy. No complaints from Birch! Dr Ellis is the sweetest veterinarian. She takes the time to answer my questions and addresses all of my concerns. I bring all 6 of my cats to her and will continue to as long as she is at Chino Hills Veterinary Hospital. What I appreciated most is that they really love and care for animals and also that the hospital is clean and fresh smelling.

I hate having to take my dogs to the vet, but I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr. Otterson. She is amazing, compassionate, and great with my dogs. She is so great that we travel over an hour for her to see our dogs. Today, we had the pleasure of having Kate R as our room nurse, and she was equally amazing. She explained everything to us, and our dogs were very comfortable with her.

Thank you to Chino Hill Animal Hospital. My Frenchie had a pinched nose and was not able to breathe right. I brought my Frenchie to have nose surgery, and three weeks later, he is doing great. Here are the before and after pictures.

Staffs are friendly, and doctors are professional. The location is easy to find, and the resort is huge and has a lot of different kinds of dogs.

We've been bringing both our Yorkies here since they were babies. Always well taken care from the staff to the doctors. Everyone is always nice and informative. Thank you for taking care of our Cookie and Chip!

I am so thankful to have found this vet!! My hedgehog injured his eye and needed enucleation surgery. It is so difficult to find an exotic vet that can perform surgery on a hedgehog that is local, kind, and won’t break the bank. The vet staff was compassionate, kind, communicative, and supportive throughout all of our visits. Dr Hipp is amazing and helped my hedgie Jasper have a new lease on life, pain free. They are honest and upfront about every service and made sure I understood everything I was paying for. They didn’t pressure me to take any unnecessary tests and explained everything thoroughly. I can’t recommend this animal hospital enough, thank you all SO MUCH!💘

"I’m forever grateful to the nurses and vets! My family and I had a scare! My puppy, Bingo, and I were out in the backyard playing when suddenly Bingo began to act strange. She began to scratch at her face and bite her paws. Poor baby began to develop swelling around her eyes, and hives broke out all over her body.

She was having an allergic reaction to something, most likely a bee sting. The swelling was getting worse and worse.

I rushed her to the vet, and I called out to one of the nurses who was outside by chance. They quickly came and took us inside. I was basically in tears because my baby was in pain! They took her back, and they began to treat her.

They were a godsend; they remained calm and assured me she was going to be just fine. They gave me all the information and everything I needed to know and do, and a few hours later and a few shots, she was all good to go back home.

Again, I’m so so so grateful to the wonderful nurse and outstanding veterinarian!!"

My Dog Maui had 2 seizures within 24hrs, I called right when they opened and they were able to see him right away. I was able to pick the most affordable treatment without judgment. Our Vet was so nice and caring and she went over each result and explained what they meant. She even told me what days she worked just incase I had anymore questions. We love our dog and they understand that.
